Broadway In Detroit Announces 2026–2027 Season Featuring Eight Detroit Premieres

Broadway fans in the Motor City have a lot to look forward to. ATG Entertainment has officially announced the 2026–2027 Broadway In Detroit season, bringing an exciting lineup of six major productions plus two subscriber extras—all making their Detroit premiere.

The new season will feature a mix of beloved literary adaptations, Tony Award–winning musicals, and spectacular new productions. Most performances will take place at the historic Fisher Theatre, with the season finale at the stunning Detroit Opera House.

“We’re thrilled to announce the new ATG Broadway in Detroit series,” said General Manager James Kuhl. “This season delivers six must-see shows, with two additional add-on productions, all making their Detroit premiere for one incredible series.”

The Notebook

📅 September 22 – October 4, 2026

Based on the bestselling novel by Nicholas Sparks, The Notebook brings the beloved love story of Allie and Noah to the stage. The musical tells the emotional tale of two people from different worlds whose love endures despite the many challenges life throws their way.

The production features music by singer-songwriter Ingrid Michaelson and a book by Bekah Brunstetter (This Is Us), creating a heartfelt theatrical experience that celebrates the enduring power of love.


Maybe Happy Ending

The Great Gatsby – A New Musical
